With the Voxelgrid Spacewalker and AI-supported software, housing corporations capture their building stock themselves. Walk-through scanning delivers accurate 2D CAD plans and 3D BIM outputs, accelerating renovation, modernization, and conversion projects, even on tight schedules.
Portfolio-wide capture helps identify and optimize unused space, supports maintenance planning, extends building life cycles, and reduces reactive costs over time.
The system provides up-to-date digital data for energy-efficiency measures (e.g., insulation retrofits, window replacement) and facilitates compliance with environmental standards and legal requirements.
Outputs integrate into existing CAFM and ERP systems via standard formats (.dwg, .dxf, .ifc, .rvt) and structured attribute exports, enabling data-driven property management and portfolio optimization.
As part of a large-scale digitization project, more than 2,000 units were captured with the Voxelgrid technology at WBV Coswig. The resulting digital building data now serve as the foundation for planning, maintenance, and energy-efficient refurbishment.
Over 2,000 residential and commercial units in the portfolio
Outdated or missing building plans
No reliable data basis for refurbishment or funding
Mobile on-site capture (exterior + interior)
Automatic area calculations according to DIN 277 & GIF
Creation of digital room books and 2D plans
Clear, structured building data
Basis for funding applications and ESG strategies
Faster planning and internal coordination
The project with WBV Coswig was honored at the “Digital Pioneers of the Housing Industry 2025” award in the category Energy Efficiency & Decarbonization. The digital building data provide the foundation for energy-efficient refurbishments, targeted CO₂ reduction strategies, and funding-eligible measures – efficiently planned on the basis of precise building data.
